Tanzania Peaberry Washed - Micro-Lot Series

Tanzania Peaberry Washed is a light roast part of our Micro-Lot Series. These coffees are small-batch, specialty roasts that we only have a limited amount of.

This is a peaberry coffee from smallholder farmers in Southern Tanzania’s Songwe and Ruvuma regions. Grown at 1,500–1,800 meters, it features Bourbon, Kent, and Typica varieties and is fully washed. Peaberries (a natural mutation representing about 5% of coffee) are rounder, denser beans known for their sweeter flavor profile.

This coffee is part of IMPACT, a verification program in which participating farmers receive support and premiums to improve both environmental and social conditions on their 1–2 hectare farms. IMPACT is a comprehensive sustainability verification standard that ensures coffees are responsibly sourced with strong social, environmental, and economic practices, traceable (typically to the individual farmer or farm level), and compliant with major regulations like the EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation).
